“NaszeAuto” program – subsidies for the purchase of electric cars

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) and the Ministry of Climate and Environment (MKiŚ) have launched the “NaszeAuto” program, which aims to support individuals and sole proprietors in purchasing new electric vehicles. This program is part of a government initiative aimed at accelerating the automotive transformation in Poland, reducing exhaust emissions, and reducing the costs of purchasing eco-friendly cars.

PLN 1.6 billion has been allocated for subsidies for the purchase of electric cars of the M1 category from the National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing the Resilience of Poland (KPO). The "NaszeAuto" program aims to promote ecological solutions in the automotive industry, as well as to encourage switching to electric vehicles, which is in line with activities aimed at protecting the environment and improving air quality.

The program launched on February 3, 2025.

The base amount of support for individuals when purchasing an electric car is PLN 18,750. The subsidy may increase by an additional PLN 10,000 if the applicant decides to scrap a combustion car of category M1, which they have owned or co-owned for at least 3 years, and the scrapping process took place after February 1, 2020. Additionally, individuals whose annual income does not exceed PLN 135,000 may receive an additional subsidy of PLN 11,250.

People with the Large Family Card can count on support in the amount of PLN 30,000. In the case of scrapping a combustion car of category M1, the subsidy increases by PLN 5,000. An additional PLN 5,000 can also be received by those with a low income.

In the case of electric car leasing, the basic amount of support for individuals and people running a business is PLN 30,000. For individuals who decide to scrap a category M1 combustion car, the subsidy increases by PLN 5,000, and for entrepreneurs by PLN 10,000. Individuals whose income does not exceed PLN 135,000 can receive an additional subsidy of PLN 5,000.
